I have been around a lot of cats and apparently accurately counting their whiskers from afar was a hidden talent of mine. This talent was just waiting to be discovered when the right opportunity presented itself via Cats at the Bar, and one debonair orange tabby named Tsuki.
Below I “rein-act” how I won the Tsuki Whisker Count Contest where I counted 36 whiskers, and really it was exactly like this except on a computer screen, one whisker at a time. Alright, maybe I wasn’t the only one who counted correctly, but the cat did pick my name from his food bowl and that does counts for something.
This week I wore the new t-shirt to my volunteer shift at the animal shelter, which I felt was appropriate considering a portion of all proceeds from the sale of a Cats at the Bar t-shirt goes to support Quebec’s only dedicated rescue cat colony shelter called Habitat Feline St. Paul. This refuge takes in cats that would otherwise been euthanized and gives them a safe and loving environment where they can get a chance at finding forever homes.
For a t-shirt of your very own and a glimpse into the lives of the 18 plus adorable and funny cats that currently reside with the humans who run the site, be sure to check out Cats at the Bar.
