Cats and boxes, no matter how you try it’s impossible to separate the two. You know the scenario, a new package comes in, your cat promptly walks over to the empty cardboard box and suddenly it’s like Catmas morning. Your cat is in heaven, you have another brown box that will not see the recycling bin any time soon.
If you are like most cat parents you eventually give in and end up with brown and unsightly boxes of varying sizes scattered throughout your house.
Or, like the parents of Maru the cat, who became famous for his obsessive albeit adorable love of boxes, you leave more out regardless of size or appearance just to please your cat.
Eventually you accept that you and your cat are stuck with same old plain and boring cardboard boxes. Don’t despair…
Meet Meowses – Awesome Cat houses
What I like about Meowses is that they are giving our cats exactly what they want, a box to play or nap in… and to please the humans they added the fun and cheeky graphics. Think of these cat houses as an upgrade that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing to look at.
You can choose from the “Milk Bar” Everyone enjoys a fun night out at their favorite watering hole, but is it fair that our cats get left home alone? With the Milk Bar, your cat will now have a late night hangout of their very own — all cats deserve a place to party, too!
Or my personal favorite, the “Catnip Dispensary” Introducing the first ever Catnip Dispensary for your cat! Cats work hard day in and day out to put a smile on our faces. Reward them for all their hard work with the Medicate Catnip Dispensary — a place for them to unwind at the end of the day and put their mind at ease.
Stable, lightweight, easy to assemble and made from eco-friendly materials these cardboard cat houses are easy to pack and the perfect size to go anywhere in your home or apartment. I appreciate that the entrance and cut outs are non-restrictive, making the cat houses conducive to proper cat exploration aka designed to be roomy enough for your cat to stand, sit or sleep in.
The graphics also cover the back of the cat houses making it something that you will be happy to display in your home. Bye Bye ugly brown boxes!
Meowses is currently being funded on Kickstarter until November 19 and a pledge of $25 gets you a choice of either the Early Bird Milk Bar or Early Bird Catnip Dispensary and knowing your cat is the first one on the block to have the coolest cat house around.
If you are quick enough to purchase the early bird specials Meowses also throws in a bag of organic catnip plus an autographed picture of Smokey the cat – the projects spokes cat. After they are gone prices start at $30 for a single cat house or $55 for both.
