This weekend the feline internet sensation and reigning queen of “NO” Grumpy Cat (aka Tardar Sauce) made her final stop on a whirlwind North American Book Tour for the book The Grumpy Guide to Life in my home town of Toronto, and as you can imagine it was Awful…but in a good way.
Grumpy fans, lined up early at Indigo book store in the Eaton Centre to obtain a wrist band, thus ensuring a meeting with the feline enigma. After all, many of us thought we may never have this chance again.
Excited fans came from all over, they were beyond thrilled that Grumpy Cat decided to stop in Toronto, and it was perfectly fine that it was a no hands on policy, just the thought of being close to her was enough.

Grumpy fans line up early
“Grumpyphiles” not in official merchandise were sporting cat theme clothing, everything from T-shirts to dresses to sneakers.
The fans knew Grumpy Cat would likely be curled up sleeping in her cat bed but hoped she would grace us with that adorable Grumpy face. The fact that she was sleeping didn’t discourage anyone and as one fan remarked “That’s great, she is just being a cat!”. Grumpy Cat you should know, that you can do no wrong…or is it right?
When the time finally came to step up to the coveted spot beside her bed, for some the joy factor was too much to handle and a smile instead of the trademark frown appeared on their faces, Grumpy Cat blissfully unaware of the happiness she has brought so many. I say if this is what Grumpy is, then we need more please.

Frown? No.
Grumpy Cat, I know I speak for many when I say you left Toronto with a little piece of our hearts and we would have you back anytime!
Grumpy Cat, we all love you! Thanks for the post, it gave me some smiles here too! š
