Katie from Katliterary made my day when she nominated me for a Liebster award! I am completely surprised as I am very new to this medium, so to know that someone is reading and enjoying my blog is very flattering. The rules go as follows: In order to accept the award I must answer 11 questions from Katie, share 11 facts about myself and nominate 5–11 other blogs.

1. I don’t like the winter/cold though I am Canadian born I never get use to it! 2. I have been volunteering for 10 years with cats at my local animal shelter 3. I love grocery shopping and reading labels 4. I Graduated university with a degree in Fine Arts 5. I enjoy painting but haven’t done so in 4 years 6. I love spending time in and browsing through book stores 7. Some of my happiest memories come from the times spent in Africa seeing the most amazing animals and meeting interesting people 8. I have a huge sweet tooth
9. I love action movies 10. My favorite breed of dog is a Siberian Husky 11. I am humbled that people like to listen to what I have to say
